| Bio: | ☆ Character: Hallelujah Haptism ☆ Series: Gundam 00 (Double-O) ☆ Character Age: Twenty. ☆ Special Abilities/Powers: His brainwaves work on a different level, giving him enhanced reflexes. He can notice small changes and react to them quickly, though after coming to the asylum, his reactions are on par with that of a normal human. ☆Timeline: During the series, After the events of Episodes 10 and 11 with the HRL compound, before the events of episodes 22 and 23. ☆ Character's Personality: Hallelujah does not technically exist. That’s the best way to put it. He emerged during Allelujah Haptism’s childhood as a separate and distinct personality. Unlike the quiet and shy Allelujah, Hallelujah is loud and deranged. He is violent and sadistic, owing loyalties to no one. The only person he will assist is Allelujah, as in the series he is bound to him. Hallelujah takes his greatest joy from chaos and violence, as well as pushing Allelujah to the edge. He frequently taunts dying enemies, and there is even an instance where he takes it upon himself to convince Allelujah to destroy a research building inside of a peaceful colony. He’s the kind of guy that would annihilate a retreating army for the Lulz. They began a fight, and even though they show remorse and back away, he will finish it. ☆ Character's Background: (I guess pseudo-spoilers for Episode 10 and 11 or Gundam 00. ) Allelujah grew up as an experiment, born in the year 2287 AD. He was engineered and bred to be an enhanced soldier, raised in a secret facility of the HRL.—The Human Reform League. From early life, his mind was altered and played with, leading to his brainwaves functioning on a different level. His reflexes are faster, thus enhancing his ability as a Mobile-Suit pilot. However, Research Subject E-0057, as he was called, was rejected and discarded due to a major flaw. The tinkering with his mind had caused a major psychological disturbance, characterizing itself as “Hallelujah.” While trapped on a cripple ship, drifting in space one day, Hallelujah took over the usually placid Alle’s mind and body, and proceeded to kill all the other children onboard. The boy was rejected as an enhanced soldier and discarded, only to be picked up by Celestial Being. Years have passed since then, and Allelujah has become a Gundam Meister for Celestial being. He pilots the mobile suit Kyrios, an orange shuttlecock that can transform into a humanoid form. He and the other three Meisters, or pilots, are banding together against the three power blocs of the world: The Union (Americas and Japan,) the AEU (Europe) and HRL (Mainly Russia and China). Due to confrontations and battles between the three powers, Celestial Being sends out the Gundam Pilots to intervene in any battle that occurs, trying to end war altogether. There is an issue, however- Hallelujah still is an ever-present figure in his psyche. There are also issues if he is confronted with another person whose mind functions on the same level as his own: when in battles with the HRL, running into Second Lieutenant Soma causes him extreme headaches and pain. Soma is also an enhanced soldier- The “perfected” one, and so their use of quantum brain waves interferes with one another. In these moments of confusion and pain, Hallelujah has a habit of taking over. After all, he is there to do what Allelujah cannot. Due to this conflict, some of the higher-ups of Celestial Being question his abilities as a pilot. In order to avid this, Hallelujah gave Alle a plan: he would gain forgiveness from Celestial Being by submitting a battle plan to them and carrying it out. He went into a peaceful colony in his Gundam, destroying the facility that had created him— As well as the number of bioengineered children inside. | |||||||
